Fillings

Fillings can be used to restore lost tooth structure by using materials such as metal, alloy, or composite resin. Tooth-colored composite resin fillings may be more aesthetic in appearance than some of the conventional materials that have been traditionally used, such as silver amalgam or gold. Composite fillings can cosmetically blend with the adjacent tooth much better than old metal fillings. As opposed to metal fillings, tooth colored fillings are bonded to healthy tooth structure.
